Loved supporting Center for Domestic Peace again this year by donating a fun gift pack for their annual auction fundraiser!
We were honored to be guests at Okizu Foundation’s annual auction gala, where our 36” Fort Baker metal print fit in beautifully with the “Atlantis Rising” theme! Proud to support such a wonderful, long standing cause that improves the lives of so many Northern California families.
Team M.A.R.I.N., made up of middle school students and parents, removed garbage from Rodeo Beach. The kids cleared the entire beach of trash, while playing on the natural seesaws and showing off their “trash grabber dance moves”.
Never a dull moment with LOVEMARIN!
January 26th, 2022: LOVEMARIN proudly hosted our biggest group beach cleanup yet!
January’s M.A.R.I.N. team, made up of awesome students and parents from three local elementary and middle schools, did a thorough cleaning Rodeo Beach.
Cleaners worked in partners to identify, sort, and properly dispose of items that belonged in landfill, recycling, and biohazard containers kept at the check-in truck.
The kids and adults loved taking LOVEMARIN goodies home, including their well-earned Team M.A.R.I.N. shirts!
Team M.A.R.I.N., made up of students from Neil Cummins and Saint Hilary School helped package toys for kids from 300 families that the Salvation Army of San Rafael serves. The team members worked in partners to sort through and choose items for each child based on age and toy preferences. The team worked hard, taking pride in thoughtfully picking out toys that they felt were just right for the children on their list.
Team M.A.R.I.N. joined Marin County Parks and the Broom Busters to remove invasive French Broom plants from the hillsides of Old Saint Hilary’s Preserve. Our group of local elementary school students learned about the impacts of French Broom on native plant species as well as animals in the area, and were motivated to remove as much of the plants as possible.
LOVEMARIN held a holiday food and toy drive for the Salvation Army of San Rafael. Thanks to many donations from community members, we were able to completely fill both our food and toy collection bins.
LOVEMARIN, together with 5th graders from St. Hilary School, assembled surprise care packages for Marin teens in foster care.
We sewed reversible blizzard fleece beanies and shopped for toiletries, snuggly socks, and warm mittens. The items, along with holiday cards, were packed into LOVEMARIN drawstring backpacks.
In June of ‘21 LOVEMARIN launched a line of Mt. Tam Sunset shirts and hats. More than 25% of total sales from these products between June and October were donated to Okizu, a local nonprofit organization that supports families coping with childhood cancer.
